Me and my family stayed for Christmas, as my home was too small to accommodate my parents. The owner kindly added some Christmas decorations and sweets (thank you!). The beds were very comfortable and the house was spotless. Overall we loved our stay as it felt very homely and made our Christmas. Thanks again! 🎄

Rooms decent decor, beds comfy and bathroom was pretty good but could do with refreshed sealant! Breakfast was pretty good, though could do with a bit more choice. Staff were nice and location is close to town.

This was an excellent accommodation for those walking in the Brecon Beacons. The bunkhouse slept 6 and me an my friend had the accommodation to ourselves. There were 2 bathrooms for the bunkhouse which was ideal for the 2 of us. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided as well as milk in a fridge and cereal for the following morning. The bunkhouse is above the pub accessed by an exterenal staircase. The host wasd friendly and accessable showing us to the bunkhousde and providini details of how to access the room how to access the room. The pub was lively with a reasonable range of pub. The food was excellent with large portions that offerred great value for money. If walking in the Brecon Beacons again I would certainly revisit the Glantaff.

The house was beautiful, scenery was fantastic & the beds were amazingly comfortable
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Stayed for a bolt on weekend after visiting Pembroke in the week. Perfect location for me and family who planned to visit Brecon (30 min drive) for a new parkrun and the family wanting to achieve climbing of nearby Pan Y Fan (20 min drive) .
Had all we needed under one tiny roof and sat and enjoyed the Olympics in the evening on the tv :-)
Local convince store X2 nearby (5 mins walk) and award winning chip shop (5 mins walk). Kitchen well equipped (no microwave, so eat out or eat fresh).
Location , very peacefull , was made very welcome by the locals who used the bar allso.
Staff , very helpful through out our stay & polite on arrival to check out , rooms are very clean to a very high standard, bed was very comfy . We are regular visitors to hirwaun as we have family there so will definitely be looking to book again on our next visit.
