When you stay somewhere you want to feel like valued, respected and individual. This hotel was just superb in every respect, from the food, the service from the staff and the owner, comfort and location. There is a car park at the side of the hotel and checking into the room was a breeze. I am 6'6" so often find hotel beds a little short, but this hotel bed was perfect. The bedroom was faultless and even had a coffee machine! Dinner menu was excellent and very reasonably priced, the breakfast was extensive and covered every taste! Beer garden was lovely with lots of tables, both covered und uncovered. Grade 2 listed building, so bags of character.

All the staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. We were starting for a family funeral and staff were kind and very accommodating to what we needed, as well as generous with service and the bill. The definition of hospitality…
