The customer service was superb. We paid for a superior room and weren’t disappointed. Despite being above the restaurant/bar, there was no sound. We didn’t even hear the storm which broke while we were there.

The perfect spot for our mini vacation. The Gin Gan is spotless, bright and spacious. Amazing breakfasts, use of washing machine, close to Hadrians Wall for great walking. And with the perfect hostess! - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Easy to find, based on the hosts instructions. Absolutely loved the living room area, the log burner and fire place was beautiful. Kitchen was fully equipped, with all utensils that you would ever need. There were loads of additional extras, including travel cot, fire guard, hoover, cleaning products, local guides, takeaway menus, tea and coffee, biscuits, crisps, extra logs for the fire. The hosts gave us extra information about the local pub, which was closed but had given us information about where to find the next pub. overall 10 out of 10 experience. Lovely cottage. very happy with our stay. would highly recommend and would happily return in the future.
