Roslin Templar loft, hotel in Gorebridge

Situated in Roslin, the recently renovated Roslin Templar loft features accommodation 11 km from University of Edinburgh and 12 km from Royal Mile.

The apartment is smart and spotless, decorated and furnished skillfully to make best use of space and create a classy style. There were some thoughtful extras to welcome us, wine and milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly when we needed but otherwise left us to enjoy our space. We had a fantastic short stay and will most likely be returning.

I do not believe the washer&dryer access was immediately available when booking. This is a great plus for most travelers & maybe should be more prominently displayed. Kitchen access was greatly appreciated! It allowed us to go to the local grocery store for more affordable groceries.

property close to work. but unfortunately when I arrived at property and opened the allocated key pad, there was only 1 key instead of 2.eg no key to access property.Phoned 2 contact mobile numbers for help, no answer.5 days later still no response. Luckily a fellow resident, staying in property, let me access the property. In my room, no functioning heating.

It's a really interesting old homestead and would be a fantastic venue for a small wedding or a gathering of some sort. We stayed one night only in a family room with ensuite. Everything was very clean and the kids enjoyed the games room. If we had stayed longer would have made more use of the gorgeous huge kitchen and sitting room Very quiet and peaceful out in the country and well priced.

We booked this property as we were attending our Son's wedding nearby. Plenty of room for our family. Phil and Judy are perfect hosts, nothing was too much bother for them. Welcome pack appreciated and the cava and tablet were a yummy bonus! We had bridegroom and his groomsmen on the morning of the wedding and fed 11 of our extended family on the Sunday and it was big enough to accommodate all! Very comfortable and enjoyable stay!
