Beautiful location, a really comprehensive guest book that answered all our questions. Really well laid out throughout the apartment and the design was lovely. The free standing bath was luxurious and a great location to travel from into the peaks.

Our bedroom and bathroom at Little John Hotel were very generously sized and had obviously been modernised and redecorated - we enjoyed all the extra space after some rather cramped accommodation elsewhere!
The buffet breakfast offered cooked and cold options and was a great way to start to the day!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very nice deco, comfy bed, great facilities, quiet area. Great location to hike. Good comms with the host. Very thoughful to provide milk and some snacks, Would certainly recommend to friends and family.
The host, Mark, is super friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. He is also the breakfast chef and makes a breakfast based on your order each morning. Coffee, tea, juice, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, beans, bread, cereal and milks on offer. Eggs are fresh from a local farm and can be cooked to your preference. Portions are generous!
The dining room is spacious and private and was perfect for our family visit. There are plenty of teas and coffees in the room, the heating and bedding is very cosy. A top notch B&B.
Great location, can go out for walks without needing to drive anywhere.
Nice to have games to play and functional kitchen area.
Hosts were very helpful supplying extra bathroom products when needed!
Rooms were fab and roomy. Location was perfect with great walks from the door and plenty of places to eat. Breakfast was spot on, Mark did a grand job. Although there is no menu i'm pretty sure you will be accommodated. The host was the icing on the cake, we could of chatted to him for hours, funny guy with so many stories to tell, brilliant.
Perfect location as we were attending a function locally. Our room was just perfect, comfortable and stylish with touches of luxury ,like quality cookies and coffee with a mini fridge to store the fresh milk provided by Mark, our host. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully served at times of our choice. We couldn’t have been made more welcome.
The property is exactly as described and exceeded our expectations, Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well placed for the beauty of the Peak District. The View has everything for a greak break and we do intend to return.
We stayed with our baby for a wedding weekend and found the place lovely. We could not have been treated better, Mark is an excellent host, preparing a great breakfast, offering us everything we needed and telling us all about their birds in the garden! The location is beautiful, we would like to come back to explore the area.
This is a small family run pub/ hotel with plenty of parking. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. A great location for exploring the Peak District.
The house was immaculate, had all the facilities we needed and the garden space would have been a real bonus if the weather had been on our side. Communication with the hosts was easy too. Nice touch of a pint of milk, some banana bread and tea bags for our arrival. Many good walks on the doorstep. Will be recommending to friends and family.
