Offering sea views, Halvard Apartments at Castletown is an accommodation set in Castletown, 50 metres from Castle Rushen and 22 km from TT Grandstand. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. The aparthotel offers quiet street views, a picnic area, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property.

The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

Cronk Darragh Cottage in Castletown offers accommodation with free WiFi, 1.8 km from Castle Rushen. This self-catered holiday home boasts a garden and barbecue facilities.

The holiday home features 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 1 bathroom with a bath. A flat-screen TV is featured.

We really enjoyed staying in this traditional cottage; the kids got a room of their own each & although the ceilings can be a bit low and the beds a bit short for tall folk like me, it's all part of the old cottage charm. Although it is located on a major A-road, there really isn't much traffic going through to Port Erin and with the double-glazed windows I didn't notice the traffic at all. We didn't have time to enjoy sitting in the garden, but it all added to the charm of the place as you walk through it each time you leave & arrive. It was also nice having a dedicated off-road parking space and the wi-fi was reliable (a godsend given we didn't have mobile roaming on the island).

Great environment, lots of space. I had a smaller double room which was plenty. Very clean and with Kettle, Iron and was very quiet (with the exception of heating the people in the room next to me when they talk).

Castletown isn't a big place but The George is very central. The staff couldn't do enough for you. I didn't eat at the hotel as I was visiting family nearby but judging by the number of people eating in the hotel I can only imagine the food was good. The hotel was refurbished a few years back and is in tip top condition.

The location was great. Breakfast was good. My room had a funny smell lurking. The bathroom was nice. Everything else average. I expected more as 1 night for single room was £100. Which is expensive so I expected better. Or the cost to be cheaper. Wasn't worth £100.
