Great staff. Great location. Great breakfast. Great restaurant. We were using this location for a day out in Liverpool. The train station is half a mile away and then it takes about 30 minutes to central Liverpool. Free car park at the station. The restaurant has the concept of tapas, the menu is filled with small items and every person can typically select 3 or 4. We really liked that and ate there twice.

This was a lovely 3 bedroom house and had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The perfect location for us. It was a quirky little place with some very interesting and lovely additions. The owners, Lydia and Dave, seemed lovely, too. It was quiet around the area, so you can have a great night's sleep.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. We visited with other family members as we were attending a funeral. The staff were flexible about check in and very understanding when a large number of us ordered food very close to the kitchen closing time. Thank you very much.

Great location to see family, food was fabulous and really inexpensive. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Beds were really comfortable. We had additional family members meet us for breakfast and we could sit in the child play area which was great for the little ones, although despite signs saying children should be supervised several children were in the area unaccompanied. And were climbing over the equipment. Which meant our children wanted to do the same thing....

It was a lovely hotel, rooms, swimming pool and restaurant. you don’t have to pay for parking at the weekend also when booking on here swimming is included in weekend stays but if it’s not it’s only £5 per room and children can swim from 9-12 so that’s good. food In restaurant was lovely and plentiful not to expensive and great kids menu with drink and pudding included in price. hotel and restaurant staff really polite, friendly and attentive. would stay again.

Really friendly hotel reception staff! Always chatted to us and talked to our toddler. Set up a cot for us in the family room prior to arriving. Lovely spacious room, good space for our daughter to play as well as comfy beds. Soft play in the pub where we played with our daughter after breakfast. We were staying for a christening and our friends had a power cut and the staff at the hotel who great in helping us make a back up plan for them.
