The staff were friendly and approachable. Gwen, in particular, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, providing valuable guidance on places to visit and things to do. The lodge itself was cosy and well-maintained, and the hot tub was a nice addition—though the 30-minute usage limit was somewhat restrictive. The food was tasty - though overpriced.

Loved location and open plan. We went for a Family (2 adults 2 kids) tech de-tox with our dog. The open plan and large kitchen table made board games fun. The location was great for exploring the Isle. The kitchen was well stocked and a good selection of pans and utensils that were all in good order. It made me realise how bad my pans at home are. The 2 bathrooms and showers made life easy. The place was very clean and felt warm inside. There is also a lovely local dog walking loop that we found.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location was perfect for exploring the island, all facilities were as described and the cabin was just perfect, clean and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful offering recommendations for food on the island. The sunset was absolutely beautiful.
The lodge was very spacious and plenty of room for my daughter and I. Edna was extremely helpful and hospitable. We had to arrive early because of a storm and she accommodated us and then kept checking up to make sure everything was okay. We felt very cared for and most importantly comfortable at the lodge. There were many amenities, particularly in the kitchen to make our meals. We look forward to staying at the lodge again with the rest of the family.
Everything was perfect. Edna is a wonderful host. The location is so nice and quiet and the views are even better than the pictures. She even set up toys for my little ones to play with. The apartment was very clean and had pretty much everything you need to even cook if you wanted to. I loved the shower, excellent water pressure. My family and I had a lovely time, and we would love to come back. If you need a place to stay in Skye, this is the one! Thank you very much for our stay.
The place was amazingly clean and well kept with all the necessities, even a filtered water tap. Host was responsive when had some issues with the water heater.
My kids fun.
Everything 😊. There is everything you need in the kitchen. The towels are super soft. You can spend hours just sitting there in quiet and watching the birds eating infront of your window. Is a perfect spot to relax. The host is super helpful and she thinks about every detail (she prepared few toys for our toddler which he loved). I would definitely recommend the place.
This lovingly renovated cottage is just beautiful and offers everything you could need for a relaxing holiday with the family. Set in an amazing location you can watch the tides and enjoy the beauty of the Isle of Skye.
beautiful inside out, sparkling clean, fully equipped like home away from home including washing up liquids, very comfortable mattresses and bedding like any 5 star hotel, rainforest showers, sky tv and private drive. location is quiet but close enough to a large COOP supermarket only 5 mins drive away. highly recommended. I would certainly book again if ever I will return to isle of Skye for family holiday.
A fantastic little apartment, really clean, quiet and has absolutely everything needed when away, child friendly, and close to lots of attractions, the host sent over a guide which we found really useful.
