Sonny was an excellent host. Starting with a with a warm welcome to the hotel, Sonny's knowledge of the history of the hotel and surrounding area gave a glimpse back in time. The decor of the hotel is very traditional, warm and inviting. The breakfast was wonderful. It was a traditional Scottish breakfast served in a beautifully decorated warm, inviting dining room. The service was friendly and the food was excellent.

A wonderful stay.

Sonny was an exceptional host. Along with his family he went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was very comfortable with great sleep quality. Both breakfast and our evening meals were delicious. A good base to tour the border towns which have a lot to offer. Must return.
