Perfect place for a visit to Melrose and area. Excellent staff, nice, big , comfortable rooms,, old style pub and restaurant downstairs.. The Borders bus can be caught just outside the door and the train station in Tweedbank is just a short taxi ride (we were lucky to get a ride from a local who was also on the train). We enjoyed everything about our four days in Melrose.

I felt very welcome at Kings Arms as the staff is very friendly and there was a great atmosphere at the bar and restaurant. The rooms are very cozy with comfortable and big mattresses and a decent sized room too. The location is great and food was nice.
