Y Garth Guesthouse, hotel in Bangor

Y Garth Guesthouse, a property with a terrace, is set in Bangor, 18 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, 24 km from Snowdon, as well as 33 km from Llandudno Pier.

The Garth was a great stay, and was excellent value for money. Adam and Joanne were great hosts, they were so helpful and kind. The room was well equipped and the bed and pillows very comfy with very clean and fresh smelling sheets. The balcony just off my room was a bonus! There was parking available on the drive and on the road.

The Management Centre, hotel in Bangor

Set in an Edwardian building, this guest accommodation has a restaurant, coffee shop and free Wi-Fi access.

The overall experience at this hotel was awful. Firstly, the location is terrible, situated on a mountain, making it very inconvenient to get around. Secondly, the cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. The bed linens and the room were dirty, and there was a strong smell of sheep manure in the room, which made it impossible to sleep and even woke me up due to the stench. The carpet was filthy as well, giving a very disgusting impression. This environment made the stay extremely unpleasant, and I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location with amazing views. Our host Juliet was amazing and welcomed not only us but our extended family too. Facilities were spot on and had extras that I had forgotten to pack. Huge area for the kids to play outside.

Nice family hotel and restaurant. Great location next to the rail station: just 2-3 minutes walk. Room was bright, clean and cosy. There are USB-charge for devices in the room. The bed is very comfortable. Very good breakfast and delicious dinner. The staff was very polite and helpful, especially Sandra.

Very easy to access the property and the view was outstanding. Really loved the accessible walks and it was great for the children. Really cosy beds and comfy seating. The house is well equipped especially for families e.g. kitchen roll and small extras that you don't have to think about even the entertainment package is great.

We stayed there for 2nights. We booked a cabin (me, my hubby and 2 kids) and a hut (my parents). The accommodation are very clean and comfortable. My kids love the big field in front of our cabin as they can play hide and seek, and football there. My parents love the peaceful environment and nature surrounding around us. The price is very reasonable. Everything is perfect and definitely is 10/10. Highly recommended for family trip.

Very friendly and welcoming. I was travelling alone with two young children so I wanted somewhere family friendly where I would feel safe and comfortable and this place was perfect. Everyone was so welcoming and they were really good with my children. Great place.

Family of 4 (3 adults & 1 toddler), we decided to go away for the weekend from London last minute, accommodating host kindly extended the checkin time. Morden and spacious apartment, great location, lovely host, nice garden, accessible private parking. My 2year old wee nephew seemed to enjoy himself running around in the apartment. Would consider staying here again should we revisit Bangor. Highly recommend watching the sunrises.
