The lodge is really confortable and looks like new. All is so nice and very clean, it gives us an impression of first guests! Aultbea is a really nice village and there are many wonderful places to go around. The owner, Michele, is an incredibly friendly woman. If you have any trouble, you know you are able to count on her, she is a such amazing woman… All my family and I are waiting to see her again!

Everything as described. Old and could be cleaner, but you could tell host did everything to make the stay comfortable, including toothpaste and toothbrush, washing utilities and some chocolate.

Wonderful location with a beautiful view of the sea, good room heating and the breakfast is quite good. Affordable price compare to similar options around the locality. I recommend it for anyone visiting the region and I planned to use it again.

Emma was an excellent host. Clear instructions on how to get to the property, a text to tell us when it was ready for us. Loads of wee touches that made it a home from home, including the comfiest sofas in the world! Seeds to fill the bird feeder, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and hurray for the midgie screens in the bedrooms. A family of deer wandering through the garden at dusk one evening. Just ace.

I was quite nervous about staying in someone's house, we'd been staying in B&B's for our trip and it felt a little odd, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the comfort and atmosphere of Zeilda's home. It is exactly as described, a room in her house with a shared bathroom, it was like staying with a relative. There's tea and coffee, TV and very comfortable bed. Make sure you have your dinner before you arrive and make the time to have a wander around this beautiful, quiet village.

Beautiful and tranquil location, very remote but there is a little cafe and shop within walking distance. Lodge itself was cosy and spacious for a family of 3 and easily would be for a family of 4. Beds are very comfy. Livingroom opens out to lovely balcony/veranda with gorgeous views. Woke up in the morning only to spot a real life bambi bymy window! Lovely 🥰
