Our stay at the Barn was an absolute delight. We enjoyed the plentiful amenities and were thoroughly impressed. Ben, our host, made us feel so welcome while still respecting our privacy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The view was exceptional, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was beyond expectation and just overall a very relaxing experience. The nearby park is also great for an after dinner walk.

The Renaissance aesthetic of the interior was amazing! A suit of armour near the giant stone fireplace set the mood. The marble tiles of the bathroom were beautiful and one of the cleanest I've ever seen. The staff were friendly and helpful and I respect their dedication to fixing up a listed building as they have.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff were extremely attentive.
The hotel was well maintained.
And the lawn games added the extra bit of fun in and made this hotel my most enjoyable stay over other hotels.
We stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Calais. It has good proximity to Dover port so was perfect for that.
The outside space is incredible and our dog and 1 year old loved it.
Stan was an incredible host and so helpful.
Great that travel cot and high chair are provided.
Breakfast was basic quality of everything and the English mustard was out of date. Dinner was very limited and expensive for what it was. Jacuzzi broke while we were in it and became over run with kids. Not what I would expect from a spa day
The garden was very good for our dog. The house was warm and comfortable. The house was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was good as we were visiting family nearby.
Truly magical family break. The miniature oast house really is a gem. The whole family loved it. The huge field with swings, bikes and a slide were great for the children. We will definitely be back. The host is very helpful and friendly.
I had booked a family room for me and my two children, when we arrived we had a massive double room my children were thrilled and had the best night stay!
The owner (Stan) couldn't have been more accommodating if he tried. He did everything to make you welcome. I stayed in the duck house which suited me as many members of my family are in the area. This is fine for a single or couple accommodation. Couple of good cafe's in the area, villages not far away with shops and the good old country pubs most do good food. Now if you are family with a dog, and you want space no phones or WiFi and the kids can run around with the dog, then the miniature oast house is for you.
