The location is just amazing. We parked the car on arriving and it didn't move for the duration of the stay. We walked into Alnmouth for a meal one evening. We walked to Boulmer for lunch one day and to Warkworth and Amble on another day all along the beach. However we could have just stopped on the decking watching the birds, the tide, the sunset. We visited as a family of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children. The 4 bedrooms were spacious, each having its own ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there was a spacious kitchen, dining room, lounge and pool room - we never felt on top of each other. On the landing there was a TV which allowed us to set up our Wii so the kids could play games. Outside there is a lovely garden with the hot tub which all the family used. The owners appeared to have thought of everything particularly in the kitchen - the only thing we couldn't find was a toast rack! The owners left a lovely welcome package which was a nice touch. The owners were very helpful before we arrived with information on restaurants etc. It was a perfect location to travel around Northumberland.

Excellent inn with very spacious rooms - biggest rooms we had all trip. We enjoyed eating dinner at their pub as well, and breakfast was included. Ample parking and they were also next to a petrol station and a McDonalds - off a main highway but we found the inn to and our rooms to be quiet and still felt like we were staying in a British inn with the style of the building, so it kept a nice ambiance.
