Hi , I can’t fault this little family run hotel. Nothing was to much and everyone was so friendly. I have been using various hotels around the same area but nothing matches the coziness and welcome I felt from this place . I’ve been working in that area for 20 years and I’ve now found a hidden Gem . Breakfast was excellent.

Very friendly and lovely atmosphere throughout the place. The room was very nice, comfortable and big enough to lay out the suitcases. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and service there as well. All of it at affordable prices. I can recommend a stay here without reserve.

The service and kindness shown to my family was superb. This was originally intended for my wife and I but due to circumstances my 8 years old daughter joined us as a late addition! Everything perfect, including a complimentary breakfast for my daughter. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Quaint period cottage with great facilities. During our stay the local eatery was closed but brilliant functional stocked kitchen meant no issues preparing meals. Linda went above and beyond on service after leaving some items there. Abernethy is a lovely village with plenty of walks and historic monuments nearby. Oh yes, have still to taste my gin and plum clootie dumpling from Clootie McToots that are hand cooked and based a short walk from the cottage.
