A lovely room in a historic building right near the castle and gardens. Our hostess was warm and welcoming. She was also very gracious about our request for vegetarian food. This is a unique spot with a quaint restaurant in a perfect location. We are especially grateful to our hostess for helping us choose a better bike route than what we had planned, allowing us to go through the nearby troglodyte caves in Tourquant.

Massive garden and cosy interior. Perfectly located for exploring the Loire valley - plenty to do on your doorstep. Property is well equipped for young children - outdoor play area, baby bath, lots of toys, cot etc. we used the bbq a couple of nights and sat outside in the garden which was lovely. property is very private but owners are on hand if you need anything. Pool area especially lovely during the hot weather! Would come back here without hesitation!

Cute family of cats lives just outside and would come to visit. Overall, great place for a large family or other group. Host lives on property. Was communicative, responsive, pleasant, and met us upon arrival. Relatively close to most of the attractions along the Loire Valley, but feels very remote; it is really out in the countryside. Beautiful place for walks or bike rides along the Loire levee road.

The breakfast was everything you could want. I'm not used to a large breakfast so I had fruit and some bread. However a large selection of beverages, yogart etc were available. I was the only guest for a number of days and had the pool all to myself. I like it when my room is left alone - I don't like staff in my personal space and that was fine with Janine and Bernard. The house is literally on the banks of the river Loire, on a peaceful county road. It was perfect but also close to a village where I could get picnic supplies.
