Situated in a small quiet village, very traditional in decor. Our room was very plain, yet more than comfortable. The restaurant was very good with a good choice of menus.

Great location, charming chateau from the outside. The staff was very helpful, waited for us even though we arrived after the check-in window and kept the restaurant open for us to have dinner.

We had a great stay. Christian and Corinne are wonderful hosts. Every evening we had dinner and every time the meal was delicious, the cheeses and wines were superb. Christian and Corinne are very pleasant genuine people, they don't play an act and they give you the space you want.
The room we stayed in was nicely decorated, big en tidy. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were great.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The hotel was ideally located in Vezelay, with a 10min walk uphill through the village to the church, a very beautiful place. Family room at top of hotel was a good size .Breakfast was good, with the best fresh orange juice I had tasted during time in France. Went to a restaurant next door for evening meal which was good valve for money .The car park had limited spaces, so we parked in the public car park outside the front of the hotel for 6euros per day. Vezelay is a lovely village and worth a stop over .
This was one of the most accommodating staff I've ever had the pleasure to encounter. I was travelling with a baby and they gave us a room that was kinda isolated as to not intrude on the sleep of other guests in case the baby wakes up. They also provided us with a bed for him and a chair.
It was also very nice to have a bar there and a lounge area where we could chill in the evening when the baby was asleep.
Overall a very very enjoyable experience.
Very nice hotel with excellent location close to the Basilisk. The hotel does also have an restaurant nearby where they had excellent food. Clean room and elevator to all floors. Walking distance to all interesting places even though a bit hilly. Bring good walking shoes! Very friendly personnel at reception and at breakfast. Nice breakfast. Public parking facilities exist behind the Basilisk. Make sure you bring coins to pay the parking, the creditcard function did not work.
it had an inspiring location: from the front opening up to delightful square with external seating and a breakfast room with wow factor view of the countryside. The hotel could be described as bijou and the staff from reception, catering and cleaning were friendly and accommodating. Wonderful, keep up the high standards
Super close to the old city. Extremely friendly staff. Got us a better room when we arrived as one was available. Due to COVID, some restaurants in the city were close but staff propose to warm up some pizza if we needed (much easier with 2 small kids).
