It is located next to the Dordogne river. From this vantage point you can watch beautiful sunsets and the river as it flows upstream at high tide. M. Nicouleau is a very gracious, generous man. He gave many spot-on tips on how to see the attractions of St. Émilion and Bordeaux. The interior of the gîte was cute and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The room was spacious, clean and modern. The outside dining area was spectacular with views of both the beautiful garden and hotel. The dinner at the hotel is not to be missed! We did not dine in the inside dining area which has stunning stain glass windows. The pool is large and beautiful. The breakfast was nice with wide selection. Service was first rate by everyone: check in, dining and everyone else.. This hotel is in great location to visit St. Emilion and wineries. The exterior of the hotel is just stunningly beautiful like many of the stunning chateaux in the area so very pleased to have this unique experience.
