We loved everything about our stay. Very warm and welcoming hosts with excellent English. Showed us around the house and gave us lots of info about the local area. The property is just delightful. Fully equipped and really excellent use of space. The garden is pleasant and the children used the swing and croquet set. There is also table tennis The upstairs bedrooms are on a mezzanine so sloping ceilings but this gave them character and the rooms are spacious. We loved our downstairs ensuite bedroom. The whole house has a lovely feeling to it and we thought it was pretty special. Our wine bottles were added to the garden wall :) The bathroom is downstairs but beautifully designed and no issue to us. We enjoyed cycling from the House and also visiting Bordeaux, local Chateau, the nearby Piste de Lapabie. The little tabac in nearby Lignan De Bordeaux on the cycle path is a great little place to stop for drinks Would love to stay in autumn or winter too. We will definitely be back :)

Stunning location, excellent house for a small family with big spacious bedrooms. Really close to a shop. Anne was amazing! So lovely to us all weekend and made us feel right at home. Even gave us a bottle of wine and some baked treats as we left. All the little touches mattered a lot. Loved it here

Julien (owner) went far and beyond to make our stay positive and was very supportive when we had a family emergency. We traveled with 4 children and Julien was one of the best hosts we’ve encountered on our bike tour. His house is pristine clean and modern inside, it was very pleasant to stay there.

Annick and Alain became - at the same time- our parents, our friends, our hosts, our guides, our … everything. The room gets you access to the full Chateau ! ie: shared upstairs games room, shared downstairs kitchen + dining hall, and you can park and recharge your bikes in the garage. WOW! There was a storm the night we arrived and Monette (the host) drove a few of us to the local village where she ordered Pizzas which we brought back and had a shared banquet. WOW ! We had a king size bed and the room had an additional large single bed in a small loft - up a ladder. A decent sized shower, and all up-to-date fittings. Google Maps doesn't have a street view because their road is gravel, not bitumen. We rode in from the Velo Verte and found the road by dead reckoning - it's not sign posted - so enable your GPS to be sure. The kitchen+dining hall is handy on Sunday and Monday nights in this region of France where almost everything is closed. So buy your picnic dinner en-route and dine in. On hot afternoons chillax in the pool, while you take in the rolling hills, then ride back into Creon on Tuesday thru Saturday evening for a restaurant dinner. Continental breakfast includes breads, baguettes (plain and chocolate), jams, teas (all types) and coffee. But if you ask Monette ahead of time to have some eggs in the fridge, then supercharge that with DIY scrambled eggs. Too easy !

We liked absolutely everything! The house and rooms are stunning and the chosen historical interior allows you to travel back in time. Everything is spotlessly clean and every little detail is well thought out. A big thanks to Bruno and Claudette for the warm welcome and wonderful dinner at home as we didn’t have time to reserve anything due to late arrival. We would definitely stay there again!
