Firstly delightful welcoming and friendly hosts. Francoise and Christine were most helpful and engaging. we enjoyed their company at breakfast and enjoyed dinner with them on one night and we went out on another Secondly the room was spacious and comfortable in new spotless beautifully created buildings. There is an inviting pool but the weather meant we did not swim. we warmly recommend Les Carriers

Chambre d'hôtes Des couleurs et des Mots is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Villeneuve-de-Berg, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, private beach area and garden.

The house is located on the outskirts of the city on a hill with nice views on the surroundings. Ideal to go for a run in nature and for very quiet nights =) We were offered a typical French breakfast with baguette, croissant, butter, Marmelade, and coffee, and our hosts were friendly and uncomplicated. Parking the car was no issue, but I imagine it might be complicated to reach using public transport.

La Secrète, hotel in Saint-Andéol-de-Berg

Offering inner courtyard views, La Secrète is an accommodation located in Vogüé, 26 km from Ardeche Gorges and 16 km from Casino de Vals-les-Bains.

The room and property were beautifully decorated and homely. I arrived a little late (with a takeaway pizza) and was welcomed to my room and shown around and where I could find breakfast in the morning. I had a lovely shower (which was large) with fluffy towels. There was a selection of pillows for the bed so I soon found a comfy one and slept well. Breakfast was continental with fresh coffee. The village is worth an explore with a lovely river and chateau to visit with a few shops and gorgeous old stone cottages to dream about owning and side streets to wander down.

Roulottes et Cabanes de Saint Cerice, hotel in Saint-Andéol-de-Berg

Boasting pool views, Roulottes et Cabanes de Saint Cerice offers accommodation with a garden, a tennis court and a bar, around 24 km from Pont d'Arc.

Hot tub was expensive €40 extra, but we were upgraded to a larger more comfortable cabane with en-suite toilet/shower. Snack bar was great - very reasonably priced with lovely food and wine. Really peaceful and could happily have spent more nights there. It was however just a stay-over en route.

Logis Hôtel Restaurant Le Mas de Mon Père, hotel in Saint-Andéol-de-Berg

Set in a beautiful stone building, this hotel welcomes you in the beautiful Ardèche countryside. Relax by the charming outdoor swimming pool and sample local cuisine in the hotel restaurant.

Excellent parking facilities, many spots covered by trees, all gated. When locked during the night, all you need is a code for passage. Also the pool is quite large, with sunbeds around and some even had matrasses. Official hours of business is 10-19, but we were granted pool access earlier. The rooms on ground lever (I assume the cheapest ones) are good for one night, the bed was firm and AC kept the room in good temp. Some rooms on upper level seems to have a balcony. TV channels all in French.
