Lovely place with lovely owner. Nice, comfortable rooms, renovated in style. Outside a small play area for the kids. Breakfast was French and delicious: croissants, baguette and home-made marmelades. Dinner was booked for us at a near-by restaurant (Le petit champenois, a little restaurant with French cuisine). We only stayed one night, but would like to come back and stay a few nights more.

This is a great place to stop off if you're driving down through France (this was our second stay here). There's a lot of space if you're traveling with a family and the addition of a pool is great in the summer heat. You're a 10 minute drive from the lake (or a 30 minute run) and there's a decent bar which is now serving snacks during the day -- perfect for feeding hungry children. The room, again, provides a lot of space and is functional and comfortable.

The hotel is located in a nice forestry area and the pool plus jacuzzi are nice benefit after a long day drive as well as with high temperatures outside. The barman is friendly and has a proper selection of wine. Some comment to the wifi to be poor we did not experience (~18MBit upload is quite good) We booked a family room as we are travelling with young children (10 and 6). The room is spacious and the children seized the 2nd floor bed at the mezzanine.

Family bedroom was excellent and very clean, with a mezzanine level which we put the kids in. I think a lot of the reviews on here were out on before the renovations were made, so take them with a pinch of salt. Good pool, and space for sun loungers in the garden. We enjoyed the pool table and pétanque pitch. Close to the lake where you can do water sports and a large inflatable course on the water. Had a lovely meal in Les Voiles nearby (best to book)

Very dissapointing stay. Having stayed here several times before as it is a great stop off location and briliant for with children. After a very long journey they refused to serve us any kind of drink at the bar unless we had booked a table for dinner. As we arrived late we had already eaten. The staff were inflexible and considering the restaurant and bar were empty and staff were sitting chatting at the desk, refused even a soft drink for the kids. Lights in the bedroom were flickering and faulty. Sadly not sure we will be returning.

Lovely quiet, location. Great facilities for couples and families. A play ground near outside seating area and a covered pool all close by was great. Also loved having a separate floor in family room. Staff were friendly and helpful especially the lady at reception who checked us in and a male staff member in bar/dinning who made sure I wasn’t glutened. Thank you! Everything was quality at a good price, including breakfast. Definitely recommend and would come back.

The hotel was what we expected for the price. The decor in the bar and restaurant is modern and comfortable. Our room was great for a family of 5, which can be very hard to find, so this was excellent for us. This was our stop-ever enroute elsewhere, and the pool was simple, but great for the kids to be able to get rid of some energy after a long journey. We were told at check-in we could pick towels up from reception for swimming, which is very handy.

Great family room - well set out & good value for money. The golf course was lovely and it was easy to hire clubs for the driving range & for a round. The reception staff were very helpful. The location is great. Close to the lakes and the inflatables in particular that my children just loved. A great spot to spend a couple of days if you need to break up a journey across France.
