The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and really seemed to care about our stay - they couldn’t do enough for us.
The breakfast was great, the hosts setup you up in a lovey little room with pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruit, muesli, fresh juices, jams, honey, tea and coffee. They always asked if there were any personal things we’d like and whilst we were happy with the selection we’re sure they’d have made a point of getting whatever we asked for!
We stayed in a room in the private house but we were also shown the gites which were vary spacious and looked great for families.
The local village was quite sleepy but it had a boulangerie and cafe so you could get essentials.

Peaceful location. We were met with a warm friendly welcome by François. He recommended two places for us to eat and was most helpful.
Breakfast was delicious and Carole and Francois were most attentive.
Our rooms were very comfortable and well-appointed.

This is an exceptional place to stay. The rooms have been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. I’ve stayed in many luxury hotels in the past but I can’t remember one as nice as this.

We appreciated the hospitality shown by the owners,nothing was too much trouble. It was great to relax in the rear garden The location served our purpose as a stop over whilst heading north .

Both meals (Dinner and Breakfast) were excellent. In fact our group voted dinner as one of the best meals we tasted on our three week trip.
Our hosts were lovely and very friendly, our rooms were very comfortable, great showers!
Secure storage for our bikes was a huge plus point for us. And they were the only ones who supplied charging points in our rooms (out of 15 overnight stops!)

The room was lovely, clean, coffee facilities. Bathroom was very nice. Separate from main house with locked connecting door. Bed was very comfy.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The property was well located for our needs with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was lovely & much appreciated. Contact with the owners was very positive & a small issue we had was dealt with swiftly. The complex of 3 gites is great for a large family who would prefer separate accommodation. Great little bar/shop in the village too.
We needed somewhere affordable and within driving distance of a property we were buying as a second home. This property was ideal for us. It also gave our teenage son his space and of course WiFi.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family. Plenty to see and do in the area including the beautiful town of Confolens. The owners were both very helpful and welcoming.
