We were there in deep winter, but the room was very cosy. Excellent walk-in shower. Madame takes very good care of guests, and serves an outstanding breakfast, with home-made yoghurt and jams. 15 minutes from beautiful Chinon where we enjoyed a top class dinner (au Cafe Chaud).

I almost don’t want to tell you how good it was, don’t want to spoil such a location with crowds of people. I’m sure we will go back. Our hosts many years in the hotel industry shine through from our first warm welcome to our parting. The garden is a total delight with fruits and vegetables. We were given a surprise visit to the caves then we enjoyed fresh chicken on the patio with the other guests.
