L’orangerie chambres d’hôtes, hotel in Hugleville-en-Caux

Featuring a garden, bar and views of garden, L’orangerie chambres d’hôtes is situated in Motteville, 34 km from Rouen Kindarena Sports Hall.

The accomodation is in the middle of French fields and countryside. It is calm and quiet. We enjoyed it to the very last bit. We were looking for a small chateau that would offer a familiar vibe. This was perfect. We had breakfast together with other guests, croissant and baguette. Your options are not infinite, but they are all good and tasty! We also wanted to try their dinner so we booked for the second night, it was great and also very good value for French standards. We also had a selection of cheese later but I couldn't eat anymore, so our host was nice and brought them out for me for breakfast!!! I love animals so I particularly enjoyed that there were dogs, cats and horses around, many of them sooo friendly. The bed was comfortable, the room offered enough space and it was all clean. Some people here comment on the fact that it is a negative experience how familiar is this place... but if you don't like it and need more privacy you should go elsewhere. I assume those who come here are aware that they are guests at someone's home, so take it for what it really is, and for that it was the best!

Great stay, beautiful building with lots of character. Lovely welcoming host and a great breakfast supplied. Our children’s highlight was the chickens roaming around the grounds.

We loved staying at Pierre’s beautiful chateau. The decor had a real ‘shabby chic’ feel (that’s a compliment ) and our host was very welcoming and great fun.

A rustic and rather quirky château in a beautiful rural setting. Pierre was really friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed the garden, particularly the swing and hammock for the kids. The family suite was really spacious.

Very idyllic location with great host and wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed very much the quietness in the garden and the nice chats with Pierre and the other guests at the large breakfast table! A great place for a one or more nights, with kids and/or dogs or just for two!

Beautiful property set in large grounds. We had two children with us so we booked a family suite which was perfect for us - two bedrooms and a kitchen/lounge area. The owner was so welcoming and friendly.

We loved Chateau de Grosfy. Pierre the owner was so helpful, accommodating and provided a fantastic breakfast, which we had the pleasure of sharing with other guests. We had the family suite which was more spacious than expected. Chateau de Grosfy has charm and character and brought a huge smile to all our faces. The pool table was a complete hit with the children and our dog was very much at home. We will share this little treasure with others!

Breakfast was lovely communal and continental, very authentic way to end our trip. Hotel was very accommodating about our late arrival time. Family suite was perfect for what we needed and children enjoyed exploring the gardens in the morning. Only downside is the bathrooms could do with a bit of modernising. Host was very friendly and welcoming.
