Maison Fossemagne was amazing from the moment you open the door. The original stone floors, doors and beams are beautifully paired with the eclectic objet d’art that appear to reflect the owners’ excellent taste. The renovations are sympathetic to the building yet modern and spacious. Both Rob and Rini were very welcoming and willing to share their experiences of renovating the property, of the area and of buying property in France.

Ilse & Dennis were wonderful hosts, and looked after us with great style.
We opted for the 1/2 board package, and we're very impressed with both the breakfast and evening meal options.
Our en suite room was lovely, and had a very comfortable bed, separate shower room and toilet facilities.
There is a great variety of pets and livestock, giving a bustling feel to the property.
We had booked in for 2 visits, either side of a trip down to Bordeaux, and would definitely return on another occasion.

Jean Luc was a great host in a beautiful property with a lovely swimming pool. The kitchen had everything. It was spacious and modern. We went cycling on the bikes and used the plancher and outdoor seating. Our family really enjoyed our stay as hot as it was Jean Luc went and got new fans.
We loved our stay in this historic house, nestled in the heart of the Western French countryside. It was the perfect base to explore hidden gems off the beaten path. The friendly host made us feel right at home, and the private pool was a big hit with the kids – we even extended our stay for an extra night!
