We didn't just like it; we LOVED this place, so much so that we stayed another day. The tucked-away location is gorgeous and private, the grounds are stunning and rich in history, and the owners could not have been more lovely or accommodating. We fell in love with the pool area and I think I will forever dream about this place!

A first class experience in a truly uniquely furnished ancient building. Excellent staff and speedy Wi-Fi too. If you get the chance to stay here you definitely should even if it’s a few euros more as the whole experience is just superb. Themed rooms from days gone by are really special. I’ve been travelling for 2 months now and this is the best and quirkiest hotel I’ve stayed in.

This hotel had great reviews. I picked it because it was eclectic and central. I also wanted to see what a townhouse (Hotel Particular) from that era would have been like for a family. I really liked the rooms as it was fun. I really appreciated the bathtub too and the upgrade. The elevator was hilarious. It was only in the morning I realized it had a window and was stuck onto the side of the hotel. :) Very French making the most of space (gain de place). :) The receptionist was very helpful and I appreciated his help after a long drive.

David and Nancy are really nice, they made their best for us to feel comfortable. The location is great as it is well connected to drive to many nearby places around. The apartment is well equipped for a family of four to stay comfortable and even to cook if you want to, all rooms are very spacious and are equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning. Sleeping with the open balcony and being awaken by the rooster at the break of dawn feels really good!!!

Beautiful building, 50s themed room nicely decorated, very clean, comfy bed, modern bathroom, pool table in the lobby, excellent breakfast and above all absolutely friendly and helpful staff. I was shown to my room - where else do you get that (except 5 star hotels)? Location in the town center, close to shops, river and landmarks. Exceptional!

The location is excellent - right in the centre of Castres. Very good value for money for August and our adjoining rooms were perfect for a family with two children. The bar was well stocked with a few seats out on the cobbled street a nice place to sit in the late evening.
