Fabulous Hotel run by badly trained staff only the Barman was acceptable the rest of the people were unfriendly and in some ways arrogant we first visited La Villa in 1996 suffice to say we will not return there is a total lack of acknowledgement that guests are important.
Who is the front of house, who is the wine waiter,who is running the front desk, who is in charge of the restaurant we did see a guy from the back office when we paid our 5500Euro bill he took our money without a thank you or hope to see you again, it was the final farewell.

Check in instructions via booking.com were delayed coming through (I've had this issue before with them) but when I contacted Jackie she responded immediately, so all was good. The apartment was clean, comfortable, charming, well furnished, in a great location and had an amazing view. Easy parking, restaurants and beach very close by and a nice walk to the citadel etc. Would definitely recommend.
Just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Calvi, this hotel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views of the sea and the mountains. It also has a hot tub, a sauna and fitness room.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The accomodation itself was adequete, okay for a few days but not longer, unfortunately as a family with 2 small children we still had to book 2 rooms, which ended up being far away from each other, a bit of an inconvienience. The pool was really great, especially for small children and the beach was excellent too and not too crowded.

The staff are amazing, so splendidly kind and willing to joke around. Whenever I needed help or had a question the staff were happy to help or try their best to get me an answer. Along with that the meals are amazing and the ambiance spectacular. Meals are eaten family style providing the perfect opportunity to meet other people staying at the hostel. The meals price is very affordable for a hot meal and filling. Along with a sense of community cleaning your dishes and playing cards after dinner.
