I booked the "double room" for a wedding near by and everything was perfect! Very spacious and comfortable room with private bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with local products and homemade jams and cakes. Claudine's hospitality and generosity was amazing and I wish I had stayed longer if I didn't have other travel plans after my two nights there. Also the cheapest option in the area! I will definitely book this place again if I come back to that part of France or just stop and say hi to Claudine if I'm only passing through.

We had a wonderful stay at Cabane Rouge-Gorge - everything was perfect. The treehouse lodge was located in the middle of woods, surrounded by lots of trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. We were met by our host who showed us to the location and around the accommodation once we arrived. The lodge itself was so comfy and cosy and provided everything we needed. The outside space was great, especially the wood fired hot tub was the highlight for us both. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast that was dropped off in a beautiful basket - the yogurts (which I think were homemade) were delicious. It was a perfect stay and I'd highly recommend - we didn't want to leave.

We had an amazing stay with our dog! The place is really special, the chalet is very modern and clean, also extremely well equipped. The views to the woods are outstanding, there is a lot of privacy and comfort. Every night we could hear the owls in the woods and enjoy the stars. I would say, it far exceeded our expectations!
