The host was great and we really felt the personal touch. He was very helpful with everything we needed: recommendations about restaurants, suggestions about hikes that were suitable for my children etc. He is extremely nice and always willing to help. It was a real pleasure! The apartment itself was great. We liked the beds, showers and kitchen. You also get a private parking.

Hotel Villa Russell is a traditional stone building located in the centre of Torla. All rooms feature a hydromassage shower, a kitchen with microwave, and a seating area with DVD player.

A breakfast buffet is served in the dining room and drinks can be enjoyed in the hotel’s bar. A cosy living room with a fireplace provides an area for guests to relax.

The hotel is in a beautiful village right next to the mountains. Only less than 5 minutes walk to the park visitor center where you can buy the shuttle tickets and boarding the bus. We stayed in the family suite, very spacious and clean, with windows on three sides of the rooms, good view from all the windows. It also has a small balcony where you can see the stars at night. Parking is right inside the building, very safe, need to reserve in advance, Euro 10 per night. There are small supermarkets in the village where you can buy foods and veggies.

A family hotel with extremely welcoming and attentive staff. Cosy room with direct.view on the national park. The owners were kind enough to offer me the breakfast for my entire stay as I had booked a double room while travelling alone. I will go back!

Torla is a beautiful place and from there you can walk and drive to stunning places. The apartment is in a small square - we had a bit of bother phoning the hosts to say we'd arrived as our phones weren't working but luckily they were looking out for us. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The decor is bonkers, all sorts of quirky things but fun.

Raul was an excellent host, incredibly helpful, informative and friendly. The car park was huge and with close and easy access to the apartments themselves, the kitchen had every appliance imaginable (I would definitely recommend Apartamentos Russell for families), a breakfast table, etc. and provided washing up soap etc. The place was immaculately clean, including bathrooms, etc.

The views, from all rooms were wonderful. All modern conveniences including a washing machine were available. We were a family of four with two adult children and the facilities and spaces were great. Our main reason for being there was as a base, to from which to explore the area - and it did this fine1

Everything was excellent. The perfect place to explore the National Park. Parking was plentiful and easy. The room was clean and functional with a large bathroom. The breakfast was the best we have had. And the staff were very helpful and knowledgable regarding which trails we should hike- and which were open early in the season.

I liked everything! The hosts were like visiting a family, great attention to detail. Our fancy room was stylish. Everything was good quality. The breakfast tasted like home made. The views were spectacular. This was a skiing trip to Formigal but I would like to return for a hiking trip.
