When I arrived the host Felix handed me the keys to my room and took a picture of my passport and that was it! He left me alone to do whatever I like and checked up on me near the end of the stay to see if everything was OK. The garden was large and very tranquil to just sit and chill!

We had the suite, excellent. First floor, lift, easy checkin, great family business, so exceptional attention and service. Location stunning, restoration first class and fantastic restaurant serving typical Catalan cuisine and good wine list.
From our double room we had excellent view to main square (Santa Pau is extremely small). Shower was good, bed was really comfortable, rooms renovated. Peaceful night guaranteed. Check-in: call the number on the door, and host arrived in 10 minutes.
We had good dinner with kids at Food truck in Santa Pau, suggested. (Other pizzeria was fully booked in Friday night).
We had a long weekend with the family at Acampale in La Garrotxa, and I would definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone looking to disconnect in this amazing environment. The tent was equipped with the necessary, well isolated, in a unique emplacement and with very comfortable beds.
Location in the very centre of a medieval town of Sant Pau is absolutely extraordinary. Very nice owners, family run guesthouse, wonderful, cosy bar next to the hotel. Free, public parking not far from the hotel
