Raquel was so kind as to wait for us at the apartment and showing us around. The apartment was large and very clean with modern equipment and more then fully equipped!.
Although it is next to a motorway we never experienced any noise once within the apartment.
Would certainly recommend a stay!

Lovely, spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen, very clean and modern. Not in the most touristy area but nice park/play area nearby and train station within 10 minute journey of Bilbao station, a 5 minute walk away. Good Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix, small balcony to sit on.

Very good price/quality ratio. We were provided with a cot for our daughter but also we were surprised to find a baby bath in the shower and a teddy bear as a gift.
We absolutely loved the utilities in the room. It looked small but had many hidden design solutions that made it feel more spacious and comfortable like hidden wardrobe, curtains instead of doors, mobile furniture and more.
The breakfast was tasty and versatile.

I wasn’t particularly thrilled with our stay. We arrived, were greeted with faultless service, and were in our room resting within minutes. A little chaos or a delayed check-in would have added some much-needed excitement.
The room was spotless and disturbingly quiet. I prefer a bit of noise - doors slamming, muffled conversations, maybe even the occasional argument next door. It helps me relax. Instead, I was trapped in a bubble of oppressive calm.
Breakfast was served with a stunning view of the Guggenheim Museum, which was entirely too distracting. Naturally, this made it impossible to fully focus on the excellent food.
The location was also far too convenient, with everything just a short walk away. I usually enjoy the challenge of navigating public transport, but here, even that simple pleasure was denied.
And, to make it worse, my wife loved it. Now I have to live up to this standard every time we travel.

Great location near the Guggenheim and downtown. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a great selection and was excellent.
Situated in Bilbao, 200 metres from Arriaga Theatre, Hotel Tayko Bilbao was built in 1924. The property is within just 0.2 km of Catedral de Santiago and 15 minutes' walk from Guggenheim Museum.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Wonderfully helpful staff- great room and a fantastic breakfast. Pool was nice, if not a little cold! We ate in the restaurant which was also very good- for us a children’s menu would have been a useful addition. Great car park, not the super tight, poorly lit offerings you often get.
A lovely hotel with all the amenities exactly as described, staff were pleasant and helpful. Good facilities for families. It's a bit away from Bilbao proper, and as there isn't a lot in the area food and entertainment wise, we ended up getting uber or buses to and from the hotel.
Riverside is a private home located in the Bakaraldo area. Metro or train are distant around 1km walking. Having car we can park it in the garage which is terrific as parking in Bilbao or Bilbao suberbs is not that easy as free parking is inexistent. Perfect home for us 4 in family. Cosy living room and kitchen. Rooms with excellent areas.
It was cozy and authentic, close to nature. The staff was very kind and helpful. The juice machine at the breakfast is better than what you’ll get at a 4 star hotel - no kidding!
The pool was the main attraction for us, unfortunately the weather was not very good, but in between rain showers we were able to lie and sunbathe for a while. The staff were very friendly and generally the layout of the hotel was pleasing. Upstairs the rooms were quite functional and up to expectations.
