The restaurant was very good. Dinner was good and breakfast excellent. Initially the decor and ambience in hotel seemed a bit strange but overall it was an enjoyable experience and good value. Restaurant staff were very nice and welcoming

Beautifully run hotel.
Berta greeted us on arrival and made us very welcome including our dog Daisy.
The bedroom and bathroom were lovely with comfortable bed, shower powerful and extras available such as tea coffee making facilities.
The evening meal and wine were superb and we were attended to by the lovely Cynthia who couldn’t have been more charming. (Thank you Cynthia for helping us practice our very poor Spanish).
Parking was easy in the hotel grounds.
The hotel is situated a few minutes walk to a safe canal walk perfect for walking our dog.
We left early so didn’t require breakfast but the breakfast room looked very appetising.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very nice hotel...the staff was polite and friendly. I booked on the wrong date and made another booking for my stay dates, and though the booking was non refundable, hotel staff proactively helped me to cancel without any charge. However booking.com was no help in this case. Besides that, the hotel is very tastefully made and a good Overnight halt if you are traveling from northern Spain to Barcelona or Cadaques. We have paid a fortune for many inferior hotels in Spain.
it was fun to stay in a mock medieval castle! it was all lit up when we arrived and it made it all seem very magical, a lovely experience. breakfast was lovey too.
Breakfast good restaurant is very good our second stay in this hotel discovered busy at weekends with functions. Attended by locals. Disco stopped at 10:30 Good as base penetrated through to bedrooms.
Simply amazing! Took my grandsons back to their favourite place in the world. Last year the receptionist declared them to be knights and they were thrilled to be returning. Wonderful welcome. Great dinner and fabulous wines. Booked the deluxe suite so they could sleep in ‘the kings bed’ - bed was huge so Daddy slept in with them and grandparents swapped for the family room. They really enjoyed the pool too.
we were travelling with young grandsons who were so excited to be staying in a castle. A Spanish friend of ours kindly contacted the hotel to explain. When we checked in they were ‘recognised’ as Knights and awarded cloaks (which may have been hidden in Grandma’s handbag) and also fabulous scrolls made by the castle to welcome them. all the staff greeted them as knights they were ecstatic! children’s menu was great and family room just perfect.
