This place is a gem. The rooms are great with the opportunity to use the pool and sauna, and the food was amazing (best we have had this trip). The owners also kindly picked us up from the Camino and dropped us back on the trail the next day. Would highly recommend a stay here if you have the opportunity..

Apartment done up really nicely with good touches like things in the fridge to welcome guests. Location is great, halfway between the old town and the Guggenheim (and overlooking the escalator up the hill). Host really friendly and helpful. All round great stay.

Ideally located just off San Mames stadium, very close to Bilbao Intermodal, for the airport bus, 7 min on foot to Euskalduna congress center, closest to Sabino Arano tram station for Guggenheim and old town, although you can get there on foot in 15, respectively 30 min.
The apartment is spacious, clean, the living with sofa bed and smart TV, with all the apps. The kitchen well equipped, big fridge and a delicious Txakoli wine as a welcome gift. The bedroom huge, with built in dressing, very comfortable mattress, and a smaller TV. Wifi very good, communication with host in spanish but I've managed to understand the instructions for the access key. Mercadonna is the closest supermarket, but I reccomend Eroski, 5 min on foot, for local delicacies.

Staff are SUPER nice and accommodating. The location is great (near a tube station and even closer bus stop). It's very close to all you need to see in Bilbao (by public transport). The hotel is also nice overall although the beds are not the best.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Interesting history of house and its family explained by excellent host . Good parking . Just an overnight stay so didn’t get chance to explore Bilbao but had good train links to centre.
It was wonderful to be served a yummy breakfast. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful old chalet, family run hotel. Train station just across road so getting into Bilbao was an easy option. Walk to local shop and restaurants within 10 mins. Bedroom got a bit hot during the night but air conditioning being installed.
The history of the family and building, location was excellent for getting the train to Bilbao. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Huge suite at the top of the family home. Comfortable, clean and a great bathroom. Fernando was exceptionally helpful in spite of language barriers (thanks Google translate). He gave us a travel card for getting into Bilbao which made the travel cheaper. The house is located within 5 min walk to train station (no train noise at house) making it a great out-of-town place to stay with easy access to the City. We didn't have breakfast but there was a small kitchenette in the suite which we used.
We spent one night here using the hotel as a base to explore Bilbao. We were able to park our hire car and then it was an easy walk to the station to catch a Metro to the city. Trains run every 15 minutes and were cheap. We had dinner in the hotel which was very good and then had a very comfortable nights sleep. This is a lovely family run hotel.
Very nice, sociable and lovely host :) it's like living with a family, much more personable than a regular hotel :) it's a very animal friendly home with cute dogs, chicken, cats and a parrot :)
Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a more authentic experience and wanting to talk to people.

The family room was spacious. The location was excellent - a peaceful haven away from the city centre, but right opposite the train station - getting in and out of the centre was quick and easy.
The hotel has a small garden for relaxing or outdoor dining in the very good restaurant.
There is on site parking, and the staff were lovely too!
