Driving after a long drive it was nice to be welcomed with a friendly smile, and able to get a cold local beer. This was our second visit to the establishmant. You have to remember this is a traditional Bavarian guesthouse, not a modern hotel. I have no negatives as it was what I expected when I booked.

The Darchinger Hof was built in 1811 and is located between the Holzkirchen and Wayern exits and near the A8 motorway.

The parking lot at Weidmossweg is right next to the hotel and is free. In the morning, enjoy the breakfast buffet. Drinks are available around the clock.

Gschwendt EXCEEDED expectations and was the MOST comfortable stay we have ever had. I wish dearly we could have extended our stay, but regrettably, and with good reason, they were booked out. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The apartment is beautifully designed, the beds are super comfortable, and the personal touches are extremely appreciated. I would return again in a heartbeat.
