Awesome location, very quiet. The owner was very kind and spoke very good English! They served us dinner despite the kitchen was about to close. It was super tasty food, delicious, excellent quality and not expensive! Breakfast was plenty and super tasty! The room was clean and spacious. Cozy and familiar. Highly recommended!

We didnt receive any breakfast! But we LOVED Lauscha, We enjoyed seeing Steinach and Sonneburg as we had read a trilogy of books about the glassblowers in Lauscha and Steinach and Sonneburg was mentioned fairly frequently.

I love this hotel! I have stayed here many times when visiting the Thuringia region (from America). The location is beautiful - in the mountains (at the bottom of a valley).
