Well it was a perfect stay! Clean, comfortable and new apartment. It has its own entrance, terrace and a yard. I felt like I am home again. In fact - it is a part of a house. There is a barbeque area and goats/sheeps my daughter was so happy to meet ))) Wife was happy to have everything she needs on kitchen (I do not think you need anything to bring with you) and I was happy to park my car on a big own parking lot in front of my door. Bed was comfortable and big enough. All clean and brand new.

Exceptionally friendly staff - they were really kind, offered advice on places to visit around and very exceptionally forthcoming. The room had plenty of room for a single room, and was very clean, calm and comfortable. Very modern, too - which I would not have expected from the outside. The gym is small but well equipped and the sauna is splendid.

We loved the hotel which has been modernised to a good standard. Really liked the rooms which were bright, airy and modern - devided into a spacious bedroom and a work station area. Great artwork on the walls. The bed was large, really comfortable mattress and lovely bedding. Bathroom was modern and spacious with a good shower. The communal areas were still being completed in the modernisation programme but this did not affect our stay. Especially loved the bier garten as it was a lovely sunny day - this attracted a lot of local people so a friendly atmosphere without a hotel feel. Great breakfast in the morning. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely visit again.

Rented room for two nights in early September 2022. Excellent lodging facilities at a reasonable price. Room was large and modern and had a stove and refrigerator along with cooking and eating utensils. Bed was large and comfortable. Very large bathroom with shower. Everything was exceptionally clean. Complimentary breakfast offered a wide selection of items. Restaurant had a varied menu and was reasonably priced. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. Given the price and quality of the food the restaurant is definitely worth visiting. We ate both our evening meals there outside, enjoying the beautiful weather during our stay. Try the local Barre beer. Both the owners and staff speak English.

We chose Bad Oeynhausen based on travel distance for each side of the family and the accommodation needed to have plenty of bedrooms, extra bathrooms, a large living room space and be suitable for a dog. We found all this and more at Ferienhaus Plattenberg. We travelled during the recent storms and due to the weather needed to spend quite a bit of time indoors. This was no problem at all due to the very comfortable set up and open living room/ kitchen area which allowed us to cook, talk and play games. Ferienhaus Plattenberg has underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen - you could even bake a cake, a utility room with washing machine/ dryer, family games, a beautiful outdoor space and views over the hills and close by woodland. Even our dog loved being able to sit by the large, floor to ceiling windows and watch the neighbourhood. For us the location was perfect but grocery shops etc. can only be reached by car. It's a 10 min drive to a shopping centre but requires some planning. All in all we had a wonderful time together.
