Incredibly lovely establishment.
The only downside is that in the evening, there’s no easy way to get here from the station, other than taxi (Uber is also pretty much non-existent), and the reception closes at 11pm.
But other than that I enjoyed my stay here, albeit it was less than 12 hours. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are just as pictured, and the restaurant is fabulous - be it for breakfast, or for a dinner (seasonal foods and italian delicacies).
The surroundings are green and picturesque, it’s a brisk walk to a city center.

Minden has a lot to offer especially for cyclists. There are many routes to follow along the river and country lanes. The town has a cathedral and interesting old buildings as well as plenty of modern shops especially Hagemayers which had a lovely roof top restaurant. There are plentiful cafes and ice cream shops with seating in the shade.

Hotel ideally situated, close to the city, also on main road for buses to my favourite hypermarket. Alot of history in Minden with old buildings and an old town, very pretty city. Reasonable shopping, including c and a and Woolworths. Well worth a visit. It used to be my first home.
The hotel is located in a calm area of a town. There is a self-check-in system, but it works and in case of need, there is staff on the phone ready to help. The staff was welcoming, willing to meet our wishes and professional. There was not any possibility of having breakfast in a restaurant yet, in the apartment, there was coffee, tea, water and some sweets. That was thoughtful and appreciated. The apartment is spacious and it has access to the roof, which is cool. I recommend it.
I have stayed at the Victoria many times and it always hits the mark. Positioned in the middle of the central square could not be better. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast adequate. The rooms are neat, tidy, and spacious. Parking in the underground carpark is free. Overall a great business-type hotel
Great central Minden location. Good parking in front of hotel, across the road and under hotel. Nice bar and good selection of continental breakfast items and a few hot items. Room is a nice size and the bed was comfortable.
The room was very nicely equipped. Bathroom was new and very clean, shower nice strong and hot. The kitchen was very clean and the fridge had two bottles of water. In walking distance from downtown Minden.
Their furniture is consistently farm style, there's even an old style hotel radio in the room. Close to the train station, but check your map how to get from the tracks through the underpass to the hotel.

I liked the beergarden! We had a great dinner there. Also, parking was available in front of the hotel which is nice.

The hotel has large rooms and spacious bathrooms. Overlooking the town square it is minutes from city attractions. They happily cater.to bicycle tourists and have secure storage.
For a hotel almost next to the train station, it was amazingly quiet, but this was a weekend night when the trains aren’t running as frequently as during the week.
