Location is perfect and has an amazing view! super close to main attractions and also has a big Lidl supermarket nearby. The room was super clean, very large in size, super comfortable beds, large kitchen with all needed appliances. and had everything we needed! The staff is exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The location is great, you can start hiking directly from the front door. Otherwise within a few minutes drive you can reach Titisee or Schluchsee and enjoy activities there. The room we were given (room #2) had the perfect setting for our family (2 rooms separated by a door, so we could stay awake a bit longer while our kids were sleeping in the other room). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back.

We had a great stay at the pension. Martin was a wonderful host, who helped us in whatever way he could. There are great hiking routes in the area and perfectly doable with public transport. The room itself was clean and had everything we wanted. The breakfast was comprehensive. It was also really great that there was a sauna available.

I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived until the time I left. I did not need to use the little German I know as English was spoken. Breakfast was very good, with an outstanding selection. The evening meals provided at the weekend were excellent. The local ski slope was within walking distance but unfortunately was not in use due to a lack of snow but I used the Feldberg slopes which, (by car) are only 10 minutes or so away. In a number of ways the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in a number of ways.
