The hotel has been sympathetically restored. Its public areas like the entrance foyer, reception, and the dining room, are outstanding. The dining room is magnificent and a tourist attraction in its own right. It serves an excellent breakfast and has friendly and helpful staff.
The room was filled with light ( and this was winter) and very spacious.
The location was within easy walking distance of Prague's most visited tourist sites and there were numerous restaurants close to the hotel.
