It's in the love and excitment of the owner for the country life, it's in the design, construction and decoratiin of the house and the guest rooms, it's in the houses and farms around (take a stroll!), and in the entire region, which is not touristic, very agriculture oriented, tranquil and pretty. This is a great little hotel and is the third time I have stayed here whilst visiting the Willisau Christmas Market. The rooms are situated in an adjacent new modern building and the rooms are large, well-appointed with modern excellent bathrooms. You need to leave this building to get to the actual hotel, but it is a matter of a few metres away. The hotel itself was built in 1907 and is in a more traditional Swiss style. There is a contrast between the rooms and the hotel that reflects the building method and time. Breakfast is of a simple continental style but appropriate.
