Very clean, extremely quiet at night and great breakfast. The staff was very polite and friendly. Location on the outskirts of the city, in the middle of nature, very quiet and fresh air.
The ibis Fribourg offers good access to the A12 motorway, the Forum Fribourg exhibition centre and the city centre. The train station is just a 15-minute bus ride away.

Great family room for four, with bunk bed room off the main room. We had 2 adult children with us. Lots of space. Good sized bathroom, and extra toilets and showers across the hall were useful when getting ready quickly.

Bus stop nearby for quick trip to the centre of town. Lovely grounds and great views of the mountains.

Location was great. Perfect location when travelling with children and public transport. Lots of shops, restaurants, historical sites, and train station near by.

Great hotel, great staff, great location. I was in the biggest room in the ceiling of the hotel, the room and restroom - recently renovated - were awesome. It's not super close to the main action in the city but the bus station is right in front of the hotel and the bus gets you to the train station in 10 min. Or the stairs if you feel in shape. Try the funiculaire at least once. Very close to the public pool which was great during the summer heat wave. There are a few dinner options around for any budget.
A tiny family room, barely was enough for double bed and they had fitted foldable single bed in a closet, after opening the single bed there was not eough space to walk around, so one can imagine how small the room was
