The host when we checked in was excellent. The room was clean. The coffee machine.
Just 100 metres from Lake Murten, 3-star Superior Morat Gaste Zimmer offers lake views, a garden, and free WiFi. The centre of Murten and the train station are 2.5 km away.

The room was fine and equipped with an extra sofa bed for our toddler - he slept excellent - coffee machine, and water heater, tea and coffee pads and sugar - however no spoons (were brought later on request - 2/4 already dirty though)
nice pool area, however quite some insects and leaves (trees are close, but for that price I would expect more attention).
We appreciated the electric fridge in the bathroom. It needs to be plugged in first and wasn't on already (makes sense for environment reasons) and cools quickly.
Convenient parking area and in quiet area. direct walking path to Murten/Morat - around 40 mins. walk through the forest

Good breakfast selection. Good evening meal menu albeit rather on the pricey side compared to local restaurants. Excellent location with easy walk along the lakeside to the town centre. Bedroom and bathroom very good size.
Only a 1-minute walk from the Old Town of Murten and a 5-minute walk from Lake Murten. Due to the renovation of one of our hotel wings, we currently no longer have a restaurant.
Set in Tafers, 6.2 km from Forum Fribourg, Hotel Taverna offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The restaurant has a good qualiry of ingredients, and also a good propose of Italian Pizza, actully really not bad!
Also a good point, shall be done to the parking, very usefull and next to the hotel entry.
