This was an exceptional experience. The hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need or want. We felt warmly welcomed and expertly guided toward enjoying Twillingate fully. The house is modern and gorgeous.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The Mermaid B & B is a very cosy, family-friendly place to stay, on the beautiful rugged coast of Twillingate. The breakfast was excellent with self-made muffins, fresh fruit salad, eggs, bacon, self-made jam. There are helpful informations about things to do nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much, and wish we had had more time there.
The studio unit (suitable for a family) was very spacious and comfortable and very well equipped, everything was excellent, thanks to Deborah, Faith and the all the staff.
The breakfast and extras to take for the journey were very nice. The location was excellent. The house itself was great if you didn't have a family member in a wheelchair.
The location was beautiful. Friendly staff, the room had everything i wanted and was very clean. We certainly would return again at a another time. Plus beautiful town. I would recommend this place to family and friends.
We stayed in the spacious downstairs family suite and it was so nice to have the kids in a separate bedroom. It felt very clean, private, and comfortable, and there was plenty of natural light so it didn't feel like you were in a basement. The kids were also thrilled that they got to sleep in separate beds. The kitchen was enormous and very well stocked, and we appreciated the in-unit laundry. Deborah, the host, even left us some breakfast in the fridge because we would have to leave very early the next day.
