The Montague Rose Inn was the perfect place to stay in St Andrews! The rooms were clean and perfectly designed and the family who owns it was so nice and welcoming. They did a wonderful job renovating the place as they’ve shown on their Instagram. The Inn is located just a short walk to the main road. Would love to stay here longer next time.

A lovely heritage building home to a young family who moved to the area a few years ago. There are signs of a ‘boutique’ establishment in the making. They are clearly working hard on their refurbishments and new business with lots of personal touches that are both modern and in keeping with the bones of the home. Very clean and the ‘snack basket’ in the room worked alongside the coffee facilities and fridge. Breakfast is not provided but within 5 minutes walk there are many coffee shops etc.

The location was very beautiful at the bay. And quiet. The swimming pool was cold, but still the kids liked it. The room was fine for the 4 of us. The bathroom was a bit small.

Really great location, beautiful views, nice open lawn area. Lots of chairs and areas to sit and relax. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also a very nice walking trail nearby. Fully functional kitchen and grocery store is close. Great water pressure in the shower, although it's quite a tiny little stall.

Beautiful property in a great location . Very clean and comfortable. St Andrews is a lovely little town which feels very safe. Just a few bars and restaurants but we found it perfect for an overnight stop on our journey to the bay of Fundy. We even saw deer roaming around the town.

Staff went above & beyond for our family of 6 (2 adults & 4 children (5,6,9,10). It was our daughters birthday and they surprised her with a sweet card and treat upon entering our room. They were very helpful & friendly!! Highly recommend ☺️ The facility is amazing as well! Of course the large pool and unique waterslide was our children's favorite.

Enjoyed the breakfast! Bacon and eggs, fruit salad, toast, croissants, oatmeal, orange juice, coffee. The hosts were lovely people, very helpful in telling us what activities were handy. The owner's wife actually cooked us some delicious homemade bread to make our picnic sandwiches with and brought out a kiddie pool and filled it for us on the day our 2 year old grandbaby was visiting. This is a quiet, out of the way, place to stay and we enjoyed it. Came home one day to an entire herd of deer on the front lawn!
