Overall well-kept. Good central location in Gros Morne National Park with friendly, knowledgable staff and a small store for outdoor gear. We stayed in the private room, so we didn't have any issues with the state of the washroom. Appreciated the common area and kitchen facilities - take advantage of these by bringing in your own food; restaurant options are limited in Gros Morne. Also thought the two cats roaming around were funny, though surprising when you first run into them.
The view from our unit was excellent. It was also well located for checking out attractions in the area. The bed was supportive but not too hard so we had good sleep to be prepared for our fun days.
Our best experience here was the boat trip into Gros Morne on a sunny day. Wow!
However, what impacted us the most was the help Chris gave us when we had a car problem. He put in time and effort to find us a solution on the Saturday of a long weekend, and he got us the help we needed. Thanks so much Chris!!
It was good value for money. The rooms were clean.
They have a trampoline for kids and a swimming pool. The breakfast was included and it was a good breakfast.
Location was very convenient and clean. Within walking distance to general store, fish market, ice cream stand, restaurants and liquor store……..rear deck is very inviting and great views of the harbour……bocci ball court looked fun as well, but unfortunately didn’t have enough time to enjoy.
