As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We travelled to Nakusp for our granddaughter's graduation. The location was excellent with easy access to commercial outlets, very attractive landscaping and a well designed restaurant, lounge and outdoor patio. An added bonus was that it was in the immediate vicinity of the lovely waterfront park where grad family photos were taken. The room was exceptionally clean and staff friendly and efficient. We would stay again.
Full disclosure - we never actually made it to the lodging due to hitting a deer but they were so kind and decent with us. They called late to see if we were ok and still arriving. The cancelled a non-refundable booking because of the situation and they seemed genuinely concerned for our well being. I'll be visiting as soon as possible.
