Hotel Gault's staff were great, helpful, and courteous (especially Brian and Noks). We came earlier than the usual check-in time, so my husband and I roamed the area, which is very close to Old Montreal attractions. The hotel has a luggage storage area, so we are not worried about our luggage while waiting for our room to be ready. When we came back, we were told that our room had been upgraded to a nicer one, which made our stay in this hotel much special.
Pillows are so huggable. We had a very nice and relaxing sleep.
Breakfast was really good. We had our breakfast delivered to the room as we wanted to relax and watch TV while having our meal.
Cleanliness: The room is really clean, the towels are new, and the toiletries are good, but they need to pay more attention to maintaining and deep cleaning the toilet bowl and bathroom, as they are very close to getting a bad review.

The location is perfect for both those traveling y car or relying on public transportation. The Metro is literally next door and accessed by a covered path from the lobby to the station.
The room was well laid out and the balcony is exceptional. The view was perfect to orient us as we traveled across the city. The breakfast was amazing. Both the quality and variety of offerings is exceptional.

Easy downtown location. I mostly walked to the areas I wanted to see. It was a 30 min walk to Old Montreal, it was a 10 min walk to Mount Royal, 10 min walk to the Museum of Fine Arts or Sainte Catherine Street for shopping. A Good vibe mid rise boutique Hotel in downtown Montreal. Modern, clean, quiet, good workout facility, attentive desk staff etc. Good Restaurants on site. I chose no housekeeping and that was respected during my stay.

Beautiful place. Walking distance to everything. Loved it!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The unit is on the ground floor and very spacious. It was perfect for our family of four - each child had their own room and there was enough play space. The furnishings were child-friendly too. Everything you needed to put together a simple meal was available in the kitchen. The host was very easy to reach and answered all questions and concerns promptly and thoroughly. Even though it was very hot and the unit isn't air conditioned, it was very cool in the apartment and we were very comfortable.
We have had three stays at Bonaventure. Once my husband and son, once myself and our son and once the three of us. Bonaventure is soooo family friendly. Most recently, bouncy castles and a hot chocolate bar to enjoy. My 5 year old feels soooo important, special and on cloud nine. He doesn't need to leave the hotel because he's got so much to do right there! This isn't always but we have travelled over christmas and march break so the bouncy castle was for the kids for sure!
Excellent food at the restaurant and was happy to know it was free for the kids. Asked for a baby crib in the room and was happy with the one provided, with no added cost.
The room really is fine. I would not recommend it to families with small children, as it has two levels with unsecured stairs, but aside from that: Very stylish, clean, okay location. So yes, this could be good.
However, the host makes this the worst experience ever, so I definitely WILL NOT RECOMMEND this.
Very spacious apartment and well equipped with everything we needed for the week with our two children (7 and 9 yo). Location is great too, well connected to go anywhere in the city. Also the playground just in front of the apartment was wonderful for the kids. Balcony view is very nice. Wifi is stronger in the living room area and the bedroom facing the street, not so much in the kitchen and second bedroom. We recommend it for families for sure.
The free breakfast was great, with omelets, sausages, bacon, home fries, croissants and DIY waffles. We didn't expect to have a "simple" breakfast (as described on the website) with so e many choices.
The room was very clean and the indoor salt-water swimming pool was definitely a bonus. The kids had a great fund in there.
The suite was spacious, the kitchenette was functional (though a bit antique) which was very convenient for a family, and they also provided us a baby chair.
