A beautiful location and luxurious apartment. Small but attractive infinity pool and adjoining hot tub. Nice onsite restaurant (closed Sun & Mon) and good supermarkets nearby. We played golf on nearby Pender Harbour 9 hole course which was hilly, wooded, friendly and fun. The spa looked good but quite pricey.

Personal welcome as soon as we arrived. The manager surprised us by upgrading our room to a King, waterview suite! The grounds looked super, hot tub was super clean with nice lounge chairs around it, separate kids area with new swing sets, and several fire pits for evening camp fires.

The hotel and area are an ideal getaway from the city. Very quiet. Right beside the ocean. Beautiful views from the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The room had a functional kitchenette, good for making basic meals. The hotel has a hot tub on a deck built right over the water. Very relaxing.

We had a lovely autumn stay at Ruby Lake Resort. It suited our family who usually camp, so we loved being in nature, watching the ducks and finding horse chestnuts to play with. There is plenty to do for a nature based holiday without having to leave the property, lovely walks, swimming, trees to climb and ponds to explore.

Nothing. When we arrived at the property we discovered that breakfast was not included. This isn’t immediately clear in the advert as the property describes itself as a bed and breakfast. Their website states they stopped offering breakfast in October 2021 for all rooms.

We came here as part of our honeymoon with 30 of our family members, it was incredibly comfortable to walk around and visit. The views were fantastic and the use of kayaks and hot tub was great. Austin and his team were very accommodating and provided great local knowledge. The rooms had nice touches with wireless phone chargers and tonnes of USB plug ins. Rooms had nice coffee tea and hot chocolate provided.
