The host, Mike, was exceptionally friendly! the home is an old English house and the decor is absolutely lovely. It felt like taking a step into history which was brilliant! Mike made sure we were comfortable and everything was to our liking

the hotel was very clean and the staff was truly amazing.when we checked in we were put on the 3rd floor and they were able to move us down to the 1st floor. my mother doesn’t have very good knees and they did not hesitate to move us where she would be more comfortable. the breakfast was excellent. overall, I would absolutely return and refer my friends to this hotel.

Perfect hosts, believers in true hope that you will have "time to enjoy your time" here and a gorgeous place that feels warm and provides everything you want in a safe, welcoming, homebase during your travels. Family is so beautiful and I love the way I seem to have no problems at all at Mackenzie House. Great breakfast, good coffee, attentive service, respectful and friendly, sincere and authentic help in every way. Purely brilliant.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating, we are an unconventional family and usually we get treated in a different way but in Super 8 we felt seen and accepted as we are without feeling judged nor tolerated. The beds were absolutely comfortable and the room was clean. Very modest but comfy. We adored the pool and the swirl pool. The breakfast time was fun, we got to make our own waffles in the waffle machine. The price was fair and reasonable. A highlight were the statues made of cardboards on the lobby/hallway

it was amazing to start our trip in Gaspesie with a local family. The owner was really nice and has shared with us stories of his family. We had comforting pancakes and home made maple syrup for breakfast.

The place is a really old building. Very cute but it makes the stay not that comfortable. All the floors make sounds very loud. You can hear literally everything was happening in the dorm next to yours. Breakfast is coffee, orange juice and pancakes. I didn't like it but my boyfriend did. So it's a taste thing. The owner is really nice and like to talk a lot. Really funny guy.

The room was a great size and the Raymond room we were in had space for an additional put up bed if you had a child with you. Fantastic breakfast and really friendly staff. Host helped us find a ATM to get cash out to pay for the hotel and gave a good recommendation for dinner at a nearby restaurant which was very yummy. Perfect short walk to the water and right by the bridge
