We planned a 3 week's tour to Rockies this August. Unfortunately Japer caught fire just before we reached. We were to stay for 6 nights at Jasper which we had to replace. We replaced 3 nights' stay by booking at Kanata. It was a last minute decision. As I did not search more I was a bit skeptical about the property but on reaching we were so very pleased with the amenities, staff, surroundings...everything. Special thanks to Anmol, a guy at restaurant who not only gave us good information but also served us with very tasty Samosas...!!

Breakfast was really good (coffee was delicious). The pool was nice - I wish the slide had been opened earlier in the day so our kids could have used it before we departed the hotel but it wasn't a big deal just a preference! Room was clean and there was lots of parking.
The staff were so accommodating and pleasant. Loved that our room didn’t have the dirty carpeting and had laminate instead. That made it easier for us to keep the floor clean so the baby could crawl around. They were even able to accommodate our gluten free needs for breakfast.
